ELKINS — The case of a Randolph County woman accused of abusing three children will be brought before a grand jury after she waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
Sara Ravan Daniels, 36, of Elkins, has been charged with three counts of child abuse resulting in injury, a felony, and one count of strangulation, also a felony. She is currently being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $30,000 cash-only bond set by Randolph County Magistrate Tracy Harper.

ELKINS — A grand jury will hear a case involving a Randolph County man accused of allegedly cashing an already deposited check that belonged to a deceased man.
Richard Allan Manuel, known as “Opie,” 53, is charged with one count of forging or uttering other writing, a felony. He is currently being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $2,500 cash-only bond set by Randolph County Magistrate Benjamin Shepler.
