Christopher Delano See, 65, a resident of Valley Bend, passed from this life Sunday, June 28, 2026, at WV Caring Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins following a brief illness.
Chris was born Monday, April 24, 1961, in Elkins, a son of late Franklin Delano See and Jo Ellen Hewitt.
On Aug. 29, 1981, he was married to the former Deborah Ann Baer, who survives. They had celebrated 45 years of marriage.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Thursday, July 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Steve Morrow will officiate and interment will follow at the Pifer Mountain Cemetery at St. George, West Virginia.

MARTINSBURG — Surrounded by family, fellow service members, law enforcement officers and community supporters, West Virginia Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe was recognized Saturday with the inaugural Freedom 250: Hometown Hero Award from the U.S. Department of Justice before also being presented with a handmade Quilt of Valor in a ceremony marked by gratitude, faith and remembrance.

Frederick Yonley Fisher departed this life on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
The service will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Rig Assembly of God Church.
Fred’s family will receive friends and family members from noon till time of the service.
Interment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery in Lahmansville, West Virginia.
Mrs. Helen Yvonne Sturms Bibey, 92, a resident of the Teter Creek Lake Community, departed life Friday evening, June 26, 2026, at her home. Death was following a period of declining health.
She was born June 16, 1934, at Brownton West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ralph and Elvia Virginia Fawley Sturms.
On April 11, 1953, at Elkins, West Virginia, she was united in marriage to Leon Bibey, who survives at their home in the Teter Creek Lake Community.
