We have another alleged case of hacking of a lawmaker.
Last Monday, Del. Charles Sheedy, R-Marshall, posted on the Marshall County WV Republican Club Facebook page that he sent a letter to Gov. Patrick Morrisey and the state congressional delegation regarding the lack of a federal disaster declaration for Ohio and Marion counties.
The following is taken directly from that letter as he (allegedly) wrote it:

C. Morgan Haymond, 68, a resident of Elkins, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the Intensive Care Unit at the United Hospital Center at Bridgeport, West Virginia, following a brief illness.

Cremation will take place and services will be announced at a later date.

U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito said Thursday that she has been told by the Trump administration that a federal disaster declaration for Ohio and Marion counties could come “early next week.”
Capito, R-W.Va., told reporters Thursday during her weekly call with the media that she has been talking to “anybody and everybody I can to move this along,” and she was told Wednesday when to expect a formal declaration.
“To be perfectly straight up honest with you, the White House told me early next week,”
