Trump’s rules slow the release of migrant children to their families

WASHINGTON (AP) — Dressed in a pink pullover, the 17-year-old girl rested her head in her hands, weighing her bleak options from the empty room of a shelter in Poughkeepsie, New York.
During a video call into an immigration courtroom in Manhattan, she listened as a lawyer explained to a judge how new regulations imposed by President Donald Trump’s administration — for DNA testing, income verification and more — have hobbled efforts to reunite with her parents in the U.S. for more than 70 days.

Will the Left ever recover?

After hubris comes nemesis, and after the frenzied excesses of the woke revolution came Donald Trump.
The left didn’t lose everything with Trump’s second victory in 2024, but it did lose something that will be impossible to recover — broad cultural acquiescence to a radical agenda that briefly appeared to be sweeping all before it.
After the death of George Floyd, it seemed unlikely that five years later media outlets would be running rueful retrospectives about how the sweeping, nearly

State natives big part of WVU’s success

MORGANTOWN — Kyle West’s recollection of his conversation with WVU baseball coach went back to the old days.
Well, maybe they weren’t the old days, but certainly they were different from the current state of the program.
“He was telling me there was a time when you couldn’t pay 4,000 people to come watch a game here,” the WVU outfielder recalled. “Now, we’re playing in front of 4,000 people every game.”
There is a great sense of pride in West, a native of Hedgesville, in playing some type of
