ELKINS — Elkins High’s tough stretch of opponents continued on Tuesday night, dropping a 49-39 decision to defending Class AAA state champion and No. 3 Bridgeport at Richard P. Simmons Memorial Gymnasium.
The Tigers, who also lost at Class AAAA, No. 8 Buckhannon-Upshur, are now 2-11 and face Class AAAA, No, 10 Cabell Midland at 7 p.m. Thursday at West Virginia State.
