CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The next Canadian clipper system is on the way to West Virginia. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of the state’s higher elevations. The forecast calls for the system to first enter West Virginia in the early morning hours on Friday and last all day before exiting with extreme cold weather in its wake.
“We’re looking at snowfall taking hold across the entire state on Friday with accumulating snowfall pretty much expected everywhere,”
