Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, FBI investigating teen’s suicide linked to online sextortion

CROSS LANES, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are investigating the death of a 15-year-old Cross Lanes boy after evidence revealed he had been targeted in an online sextortion scheme shortly before taking his own life.
Deputies responded to a 911 call on November 6 around 7:10 p.m. reporting a shooting at a home on Kelly Road. When they arrived, they found Bryce Tate, a Nitro High School student, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities dismantle multiple drug trafficking organizations in southern West Virginia

WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Wayne County Sheriff Eddie Bradshaw announced that the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West, along with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit, have successfully dismantled multiple drug trafficking organizations following months of investigation.
The operations included multiple traffic stops and seven search warrants executed in Huntington, Fort Gay, and Crum.

White House says Trump does not want lawmakers executed, defends his comments

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LOOTPRESS) – White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Thursday that President Trump does not want to execute members of Congress who urged the military not to follow unlawful orders, but that he wants to see them “held accountable.”
Trump had earlier responded to a video made by six Democrats with military and intelligence backgrounds, calling it “seditious behavior from traitors” and later posting, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
