BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Raleigh County man is facing a domestic battery charge after police say he struck his daughter during an alcohol-fueled altercation inside a Beckley home.
According to law enforcement, officers responded to a home in Beckley on Saturday, July 26, following a report of a physical domestic incident. The victim, who contacted Raleigh County EOC, claimed her father, Brian Mains, had been drinking and struck her in the face.

Police seek public’s assistance in locating missing woman in West Virginia

UPSHUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Upshur County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who went missing on Monday, July 28.

Man arrested after abducting fiancée in West Virginia

PARKERSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly abducting his fiancée from a residence in Parkersburg and fleeing to Ohio, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
