WV Nursery & Landscape Association Offering $5K Scholarships to Horticulture Students

CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association (WVNLA) Marcus W. Rennix Memorial Scholarship program is accepting applications for Mountain State students studying horticulture, landscape architecture, and nursery and greenhouse management. The deadline for applications to be submitted is September 30, 2025.

BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A local man is facing felony drug charges after deputies found suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl during a welfare check at a convenience store.

Coal train derails in Kanawha County, Amtrak passenger trains canceled
