US and Israel launch an attack on Iran with tensions high over nuclear talks

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The U.S. and Israel launched an attack Saturday on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

ELKINS — Elin Morris scored 20 points as fourth-seed Elkins claimed a 53-37 victory over No. 5 Bridgeport Thursday evening in Class AAA, Region II action.

Police testify in shooting case hearing

ELKINS — Probable cause was found this week in the case of a Montrose man accused of allegedly attempting to stop a shooting victim from escaping his shooter.
