ELKINS, W. Va. –West Virginia State Police have identified the woman’s whose body was found in the road in Randolph County on Saturday.
The woman was identified as Amber N. Shreve, 43, of Mill Creek. Shreve’s body was found in the Mill Creek area. Troopers say Shreve was struck by a vehicle while on Back Road.
An investigation into the cause and the circumstances surrounding the incident is still under investigation.

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. — A man is in custody in connection with a deadly hit-and-run on the West Virginia Turnpike from earlier this month.

Anthony W. Hay, 60, of Huntington was arrested and is charged with hit-and-run resulting in death. Hay was arrested after a nearly three-week investigation.

The assembly brought out some of the world’s largest steel producers, economists, executives, and others to have discussions and sessions about steel production and the trends and challenges around the world right now.
