CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Legal proceedings are taking another step forward for more than 80 women suing the West Virginia State Police, with several cases scheduled to go to trial in 2026.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A student at Sissonville High School is dead after a car wreck in Kanawha County. Kanawha County Deputies identified the victim as Wylie Wilkinson, age 17.

CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) announced that it is accepting original wildlife paintings for the 2027 edition of the West Virginia Wildlife Calendar.
All artists, especially those from West Virginia, are encouraged to submit their work for consideration by Feb. 12, 2026. The WVDNR awards $200 for each painting that is chosen for publication and an additional $500 for the painting selected for the cover.
