FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The suspected leader of the Pagan Motorcycle Club, Marion County resident Ryan Lane, has accepted a plea deal in the Henry Silver murder case.
The state has agreed to drop murder and conspiracy charges in exchange for a no contest plea to organized criminal enterprise, a felony.
Lane could face up to 10 years in prison at sentencing.
Lane’s trial on a murder charge ended in a mistrial in September when a jury could not reach a verdict.

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. –The mother of a Boone County teenager who was found dead in a “skeletal state” pleaded guilty Friday in connection with her death.
Julie Miller, 51, of Morrisvale, pled guilty to death of a child by a parent by child abuse during a hearing in front of Circuit Court Judge Stacy Nowicki-Eldridge. She was originally charged with murder by a parent, guardian, or custodian by refusal or failure to provide necessities and child neglect resulting in death.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. –The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has released additional information regarding the death of a teenager in Cross Lanes earlier this month.
According to the release, On November 6 around 7:10 p.m., deputies had responded to calls from parents of the victim reporting a shooting on Kelly Road in Cross Lanes.
