CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Charleston man is behind bars accused of posting on-line threats of violence toward several government officials including President Donald Trump.
State Police filed the charges against Michael Sigmon, 66, of Charleston this week for threatening terrorists acts.
Troopers were alerted August 11th via the Internet Crime Center about threatening language Sigmon is alleged to have made when he completed a volunteer admission form on-line for the West Virginia Mountain Party.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service has filed two liens on claims of unpaid taxes by Senator Jim Justice and his wife Cathy, adding up to more than $8 million.
The filings were first reported by Politico’s Ry Rivard.
MetroNews reached out to Justice through his Senate office and through the communications team at The Greenbrier Resort, owned by the Justice family, but received no response.
The liens were filed by the IRS Oct. 2 with the Greenbrier County Clerk.

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Wednesday morning head-on crash on Corridor G in South Charleston sent two drivers to the hospital.
According to South Charleston police, a driver heading north near Childress Road at around 10 a.m. went across the median and slammed into a southbound vehicle causing it to overturn.
Both drivers were injured. Police said one suffered life-threatening injuries while the other suffered serious injuries. They were both rushed to the hospital.
