Ohio teen identified as accident victim in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — Investigators have released additional information about a fatal accident from last week in Kanawha County. Deputies have identified the victim in the crash on I-79 near Elkview as Devan Lawson, 19, of Gallipolis, OH.
Lawson was at the wheel of his pickup truck and lost control in the early morning hours. The truck veered into the median and flipped multiple times. Lawson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected and killed instantly. His was the only vehicle involved

Man dead in Marshall County UTV crash

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal UTV crash.
Deputies said it happened on Big Wheeling Creek Road early Tuesday morning.
The victim is identified as Ronald Stollar, 66, of Moundsville. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being thrown from the UTV.
Investigators said his machine went off the road and over a steep embankment.
