Unexploded Ordnance found in West Virginia

TUCKER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — An unexploded ordnance (UXO) discovered late Wednesday evening in the Dolly Sods area was safely removed and disposed of Thursday morning, officials with the Monongahela National Forest confirmed.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, a member of the public reported the suspected ordnance on October 16, prompting an immediate response. Forest Service personnel verified the location and size of the UXO early Thursday before coordinating with West Virginia State

Princeton Veterans Day Parade Set For November 11

PSC opens general investigation into Black Diamond

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) –  The Public Service Commission of West Virginia on Thursday opened a general investigation into a southern West Virginia electricity provider and reiterated plans for a public hearing in the case in Mullens on October 21.
Both matters deal with Black Diamond Power Co., which provides electrical service to 4,886 customers in Clay, Wyoming and Raleigh counties.

Bridge Day kicks off with full closure of New River Gorge Bridge
