West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association Funds Point Pleasant Junior/High School Beautification Project

POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Thanks to the West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association (WVNLA) and hard-working students, the front entrance of the Point Pleasant Junior/Senior High School has received a landscaping enhancement.
The WVNLA board of directors — at their October 22 meeting — approved a $2,000 donation to the school to help facilitate the landscaping project, which was overseen by Bud Cottrill, professional landscaper and a member of the WVNLA board.

Police say the call came in at 7:18 a.m. on November 21, 2025, sending officers rushing to 587 Chipper Curve Road for reports of a domestic dispute. What they discovered, investigators say, was a situation that escalated into a life-threatening act of violence.
