West Virginia State Parks Foundation Receives Grant from Hearts of Stihl

HURRICANE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia State Parks Foundation has been awarded a $17,500 grant for much needed forestry work at both Bluestone and North Bend State Parks.
Staff at both parks will use these funds to assist in cutting and removing dead and potentially dangerous trees from public recreation areas. Bluestone State Parks Superintendent Jessica Stoner said “this grant will be a tremendous help as we continue clearing debris on the park following our historical flooding events.

Greenbrier County authorities seek help locating missing 15-year-old girl

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.
Fifteen-year-old Jasmine Simmons was last seen on the night of October 9, 2025, at the McDonald’s in Rainelle.
