Man Arrested After Violent Stabbing Incident

POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A man is in custody following a stabbing that took place on Monday, May 13, 2025, at an apartment on Viand Street in Point Pleasant.
Authorities responded to the scene, where they encountered a male victim exiting the residence, covered in blood and with his right hand wrapped in a red bandanna. Officers quickly entered the apartment and detained the suspect, identified as Frederick Nibert, with the assistance of Sgt. Lee of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man unlawfully residing in Greenbrier County has pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft in connection with a marriage fraud scheme aimed at evading U.S. immigration laws.
