Child Endangerment: Traffic Stop in Greenbrier County Leads to Cocaine and Fentanyl Seizure

LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A routine traffic stop in Greenbrier County escalated into a drug investigation Thursday evening after deputies say they discovered cocaine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and cash inside a Mercedes SUV.
According to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Herman Rodriguez pulled over a white Mercedes SUV on December 11, 2025, after learning the registered driver, Jed Williams, had an expired license.

MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS)— A Mount Hope man was arrested Thursday night after authorities say he led police on a high-speed chase in a UTV, fled into the woods, and fought with officers during his arrest.
