MULLENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A man wanted on active warrants was arrested Wednesday morning after officers responded to a breaking and entering call in progress in the Mullens area.

Snow showers possible in parts of West Virginia on Halloween

CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The National Weather Service in Charleston says strong winds and light snow will affect parts of West Virginia Thursday night into Friday.
A low-pressure system moving northeast of the region will bring gusty winds, with gusts of 35 to 45 mph expected in the higher elevations of the West Virginia mountains.

Rain showers are forecast to change over to snow across the higher terrain of Pocahontas and Randolph counties Thursday night, continuing into Friday morning.

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County woman has been arrested in connection with a series of contractor fraud complaints involving a local fencing business.
