High-speed chase over 100 MPH on West Virginia interstate ends in crash, one arrested

LEWIS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A high-speed chase through Lewis County early Sunday morning ended in a crash and the arrest of a Pittsburgh man, authorities said.
According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to stop a Black Kia Forte in Weston at approximately 1:54 a.m. for erratic driving.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LOOTPRESS) – The Trump administration announced Monday that it will partially fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) after two federal judges ordered the program to continue despite the government shutdown.

CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Department of Human Services (DoHS) will implement new federally mandated changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD), effective November 1, 2025.
