CAMERON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities in Marshall County are investigating a tragic shooting that occurred Friday evening in Cameron, leaving one man critically injured and another dead in an apparent attempted murder-suicide.
According to a press release from Sheriff Mike Dougherty, emergency crews were dispatched around 8:45 p.m. on May 30 to a residence at 5274 Dragon Highway, where a shooting had been reported.

HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested in Huntington on Tuesday, May 27, following a tense police chase after a woman called 911 claiming she had been kidnapped and was in fear for her life.
Cabell County 911 received the emergency call at approximately 1:20 p.m., reporting that a woman was screaming she had been kidnapped and was in a moving vehicle with a man who was allegedly armed with a knife.
