MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A section of Interstate 79 North remains fully shut down near Exit 155 on Friday following a vehicle accident that resulted in one fatality, according to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said traffic is being rerouted off Exit 155 onto Route 19 while emergency crews remain on scene. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and expect delays.
