BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Bluefield man is facing charges after allegedly threatening his ex-partner and being found intoxicated near a local McDonald’s, according to police.
On May 29, 2025, Patrolman T.M. Beggs responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Rogers Street near the old nursing home. The caller told officers she was walking down the street when she encountered her ex, Paul Justice.
According to the victim, Justice began threatening to cut her throat and bash her head in.

On June 6, 2024, Patrolman T.M. Beggs took a fraud complaint at the Bluefield City Police Department from hotel owner Prathik Valsaraj. Valsaraj reported that employee Lakiesha Nelson had manipulated payment records at the Econo Lodge to steal approximately $5,500.

According to the Princeton Police Department, officers responded to a report of a runaway juvenile around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, near Meador Street and Park Avenue. Cpl. E.D. Leftwich located the boy—identified only as a known juvenile—crying and stating he did not want to return home. The boy
